- Credential Certification- approval of teaching institution based on Council of Education Standards
- English Proficiency- Internet based TOEFL, IELTS (Academic) or CAEL. Exemption for English speakers with 3 years of high school in English.
- Successful completion of a Basic and Clinical Sciences Examination
- Successful completion of the Clinical Proficiency Examination
- Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination
