Certificate in Laboratory Animal Medicine

February 20 to April 20, 2012

The Certificate in Laboratory Animal Medicine program combines online and applied training modules in all aspects of laboratory medicine. The nine-week online Introduction to Laboratory Animal Medicine – Theory course reviews:

  • Oversight of Animal Care and Use in Canada
  • Animal Models and Alternatives
  • Factors Affecting Research Data

Three applied modules provide one-week, practical, hands-on placements to acquire specialized knowledge and skills. Placement locations are determined by the area of interest of the participant.

The next offering of the Introduction to Laboratory Animal Medicine - Theory course starts on February 20, 2012.
